Compare CBD by what actually matters

Price per milligram, spectrum, THC content and the batch lab report — for every product, in every market we cover. No promises, no claims.

Price per mg, calculated — never copied from a label

Batch lab report, or the product is not listed

Legal status per country, with the date it was checked

How we compare

  1. We collect the numbers

Volume, strength, total milligrams, spectrum and declared THC — taken from the product and its certificate, not from the marketing copy.

  2. We check the certificate

The batch number on the analysis has to match the one on the container. A brand-level report, or one from an earlier harvest, tells you nothing about the bottle you would receive.

  3. We calculate and rank

Price divided by total milligrams of CBD gives the only figure that lets two products be compared. It is arithmetic, so it is the same for everyone.

The number almost nobody shows you

The percentage on a label is a concentration, not a quantity and not a price. A 30 ml bottle at 10 % holds six times the CBD of a 10 ml bottle at 5 %, and works out at half the price per milligram — while looking three times more expensive on the shelf. This is the most costly mistake when buying CBD, and it is arithmetic rather than marketing.

Percentage alone allows no comparison. Price per milligram does.

What we check before listing anything

  • A certificate of analysis for that specific batch, from an independent laboratory
  • A quantified THC figure, below the limit of every market where we list the product
  • Heavy metals, pesticides and residual solvents — hemp draws from the soil efficiently
  • The legal status of that product category in that country, with the date we last verified it

Why you will not find health claims here

No health claim is authorised for cannabidiol anywhere in the European Union under Regulation (EC) No 1924/2006. EFSA has also been unable to establish the safety of regular oral consumption, a position it reaffirmed in 2025. A shop that promises you an outcome is telling you one thing for certain: that it is not following the rules it operates under. We would rather be the site that tells you what a product contains and what the law says, and leaves the rest alone.

Understand before you buy

Our guides explain how the plant builds each cannabinoid, how to read a certificate of analysis, and what the law says in your country. They carry the date they were checked, and they cite primary sources rather than other shops.

Guides

Who writes this, and how

Every page here is written against primary sources — the regulation itself, EFSA opinions, the WHO review, the official text of each country’s law — and never against another shop’s blog. Legal pages carry the date they were last verified, and the site refuses to build if that date drifts more than 90 days from the market matrix that feeds the homepage. The editorial rules are not a policy document: they are ten automated checks that run on every build and stop publication if a page makes a health claim, names a clinical condition beside a purchase link, presents a dose as a prescription, or lists a product without a batch certificate.

Where the law stands, market by market

The same product is legal in one country and off the shelves in the next. This table is the matrix the whole site runs on: change one line here and every page that disagrees with it stops building until it is corrected.

THC limits apply to the finished product as sold, not to the plant it came from. The dates are the last time we checked the official source, not the date of the law itself.

Common questions

How do you compare two CBD products?

By price per milligram: total price divided by the total milligrams of CBD in the container. The percentage on a label is a concentration, not a quantity and not a price.

Why do you not say what CBD does?

Because no health claim is authorised for cannabidiol anywhere in the European Union, and because EFSA has not been able to establish the safety of regular oral consumption. A shop that promises an outcome is not following the rules it operates under.

What is a batch certificate and why does it matter?

A laboratory analysis specific to one production batch, showing real CBD and THC content and the absence of contaminants. The batch number on it must match the container — a brand-level report says nothing about the bottle you would receive.

Is CBD legal where I live?

It depends on the country and the product category, and both change. Our legal pages are per country and carry the date each was verified.

Do you get paid for the products you list?

We may earn a commission on some links. It does not change your price, the comparison criteria, or the order — that comes from the price per milligram, a division anyone can check.

How we make money

We may earn a commission when you buy through some of the links on this site. That does not change the price you pay, the criteria we compare on, or the order results appear in — the ranking comes from the price per milligram, which is a division anyone can check. Where a product would rank poorly, it ranks poorly.
